EVERYTHING ABOUT INSECT PROTECTION

Perfect fit - your guide to correct measurements

In order to select the ideal product for your home, measuring correctly is crucial. We differentiate between the 'clear measure' and the 'reveal measure'. You determine the 'clear measure' by measuring the horizontal and vertical internal distance of your open window or door. This is particularly relevant for products that are fixed in the frame of the window or door. The 'reveal measure', on the other hand, is obtained by measuring the distance between the wall surfaces - i.e. the internal distances between the walls. This dimension is important for products that are to be fitted in the reveal, i.e. the recess in the window or door.

Successful installation made easy: our best tips

Before starting, immerse yourself in our assembly instructions and the accompanying video, which will help you understand the process from preparation to final installation. Place all parts as shown in the diagram to ensure a smooth assembly and place a blanket underneath for protection.

When cutting the aluminium profiles to size, it is best to use a metal saw together with a mitre box. Take care not to damage the profiles and protect the work surface with a mat.

To install the fabric: Use the retaining splines or terminal strips supplied. Avoid applying additional pressure so that the frame does not warp. Stretching the retaining splines beforehand makes installation easier.

Remember: our products are versatile and customisable. Be creative and use our range of accessories for special installation situations. We can also help you with unconventional solutions to integrate your fly screen perfectly.

Easy maintenance, long-lasting protection

Our insect screen products are designed to be maintenance-free to make your life easier. To clean the aluminium profiles and fabric, we recommend using only a damp cloth and a mild detergent if required. If you remove your fly screen seasonally, it can be easily cleaned with a garden hose.
If the fabric is damaged, it is easy to repair or replace. We offer a wide range of replacement fabrics to get your fly screen back in top shape quickly.
