Easy detection of underground mole and vole tunnels
If the garden is inhabited by moles and voles, it can be very annoying. Fortunately, with the traps of Windhager, molehills and bitten roots will soon be a thing of the past. The search for underground tunnels to choose where to set the traps is not that easy without the right tools. Thanks to the combination of marker flags and the separately available set of sounding rod and cutter (item no. 05316), tracking down corridors is a piece of cake. The practical marker flags can also be used for other purposes, such as marking water sprinklers or connections.
How it works
Use the Windhager VOLE TRAP ACCESSORIES sounding rod (item no. 05316) to dig into the ground where tunnels are expected. If no resistance can be felt, it is probably one of the branched passages. This is where the marker flags come into play. Simply mark the spots with the help of the flags wherever no resistance can be perceived. If these are in the grass a few hours later, this means that the tunnel is inhabited and frequented. Traps should be positioned precisely in these spots.
