Practical 2-in-1 light source for catching flying insects
Unfortunately, flying insects often make it into living rooms during the warm season. Itchy mosquito bites and annoying flies at the dining table are the order of the day. But it doesn't have to be! This practical 2-in-1 light source not only provides warm LED light, but also ensures that flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes, moths and wasps are caught. These are attracted by the UV light from the 1 watt lamp and then killed by a brief electric shock inside the lamp. Always use the light source indoors so as not to harm beneficial insects such as butterflies or bees.
How it works
Always switch off the power supply before installing the lamp. After that, the lamp can be screwed into an E27 socket. You can then reactivate the power supply. To switch on the light trap and the LED light bulb, press the light switch once. If you press the light switch twice, you will turn both off. Press it three times to activate only the light trap. In this way, the functions can be controlled as required. After switching on the light trap, the flying insects are attracted by the UV light and killed. The insects then remain inside the lamp. To clean the light trap, it must be unscrewed from the socket. At this point, it is essential to switch off the power supply again. The flying insects are then simply shaken out over the rubbish bin. Careful: Never open or unscrew the light trap.
Safety note:Do not touch the lamp during operation!

Who does not know it – spring is finally here, but the warm temperatures are not the only thing coming back, so do all kinds of flying insects. As soon as you sit down at the table in the garden, the wasps come, attracted by food or drink. If you sit indoors, flies and mosquitoes buzz around you.
It’s a good thing that there are solutions for both indoors and outdoors to protect yourself from these insects! Light traps and fly swats help against many flying insects. A wasp nest dummy scares off wasps from the outset and various wasp and fly traps lure the insects away from the dining table. And since there are many useful insects, many of our traps, when used correctly, offer the opportunity to protect important insects such as bees and butterflies: for example, light traps should only be used indoors and a little vinegar should be added to wasp traps.
