Insect killer for interiors
In the struggle for an insect-free home, the highly effective, electric 3 STAR light trap of Windhager is a big step in this direction. The non-toxic UVA light magically attracts flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes and moths. They are immediately killed by a strong electric shock and fall into a collecting container. This compartment at the bottom of the lamp can be easily opened, emptied and cleaned by being turned. Before doing this, pull out the power plug!
Safe to use
No chemicals are used to attract or kill insects. As soon as the lamp is connected to the mains, it is ready for use. The 4 watt lamps emit UVA light that is harmless to humans and animals. The electrically charged grid is protected by a fully insulated plastic housing so that it cannot be reached inadvertently.
Original replacement lamps for Windhager light traps in different watt strengths make them always ready for use.
The mosquito lamp should only be used in closed rooms so that beneficial insects such as butterflies are not accidentally caught. Ideally, the device should be hung from the mounting hook at a height of 2 m, and it protects an area of up to 20m². The best results are achieved in the dark: hang up the light trap at nightfall or in a dimly lit place, e.g. in the anteroom.
Are you interested in Flying insects?
Who does not know it – spring is finally here, but the warm temperatures are not the only thing coming back, so do all kinds of flying insects. As soon as you sit down at the table in the garden, the wasps come, attracted by food or drink. If you sit indoors, flies and mosquitoes buzz around you.
It’s a good thing that there are solutions for both indoors and outdoors to protect yourself from these insects! Light traps and fly swats help against many flying insects. A wasp nest dummy scares off wasps from the outset and various wasp and fly traps lure the insects away from the dining table. And since there are many useful insects, many of our traps, when used correctly, offer the opportunity to protect important insects such as bees and butterflies: for example, light traps should only be used indoors and a little vinegar should be added to wasp traps.
