Tracking down voles and mole tunnels has never been so easy
Voles and moles can cause a lot of damage in the garden. Put an end to mounds of soil and bitten roots with the Windhager traps. But in order to lay a trap, the underground tunnels of the animals must first be found. The combination of sounding rod and cutter offers the ideal tool in this regard. With the help of the sounding rod, tunnels can be found, and the high-quality cutter with a sturdy wooden handle enables a subsequent advance to the tunnel in order to be able to set the trap.
How it works
Use the sounding rod (item no. 05316) to dig into the ground where tunnels are suspected to be present. If no resistance can be felt, it is probably one of the branched passages. Mark these places with the Windhager marker flags (item no. 05317, available separately). If the flags are in the grass a few hours later, the tunnel is being used. Traps should be positioned precisely in these places. In order to set the traps, the tunnel must first be exposed. This is where the cutter with the sharp-edged ends comes into play. The cutter allows easy penetration into the corridor, after which a trap can be placed.
