Effective XXL winter protection
Winter protection means protecting plants from temperature fluctuations, frost and snow. As well as from cold wind and the intense winter sun that lead to evaporation. If your plant is starved of water due to frozen ground, it will dry up and die.
Even plants that are already larger but still have sensitive crowns benefit from comprehensive winter protection. However, it’s not always easy to find a gentle and effective winter protection solution that’s easy to apply. Windhager’s winter fleece hood is ideal! Quick and simple: Preparing your plants for the winter
This thermal protection jacket is as easy to apply as 1-2-3. Simply wrap it around the plant, close the zipper from bottom to top and, if needed, pull the drawstrings on top and bottom tight.
When protecting potted plants, it is recommended to use Windhager jute or coconut fibre mats and mulch discs as an additional form of protection.
