The high-quality, FSC-certified birch wood with linseed oil impregnation is extremely robust and can withstand bad weather conditions. A hook on the back also allows the "Mountain Lodge" nesting box to be placed at a safe height to protect it from nest robbers.

Thanks to the practical cleaning opening at the side, the old nest and any rubbish can be removed easily and the nesting box be prepared for the next breeding season. It is important that the nest box is closed during the breeding season in order not to disturb the young birds as they grow up. The cleaning itself is best done with clear water and brushing. Always work with gloves! Chemicals should be avoided, as they not only deter the birds but can also make them ill.
