A home for tits
The pyramid-shaped Delta nesting box provides native tit species such as the blue tit and marsh tit with a safe place to build their nests. Inspired by natural breeding sites, this wooden nesting box has a 28 mm diameter entrance hole to meet the birds' needs.
The high-quality, FSC-certified birch wood is extremely robust thanks to additional varnishing and can withstand the effects of the weather. A hook is pre-assembled on the back of the nesting box for easy wall or tree assembly.
Easy cleaning in autumn
The front panel can be opened for easy and thorough cleaning of the Delta nesting box. It is important that the nest box is closed during the breeding season i order to not disturb the young birds as they grow up. Cleaning itself is best done with clear water and brushing. Always work with gloves! Chemicals should be avoided at all costs, as they not only deter the birds but can also make them ill.
