How does it work?
Mice find their way about mainly with their sense of smell and their very sensitive hearing. The TOPO STOP R100 device emits silent vibrations with changing frequencies. Mice and rats find this so uncomfortable that they have to leave the area in a short time. The emission frequency, interval and duration are changed randomly so that the animals do not get used to it and the device does not lose its effectiveness.
These vibrations (structure-borne sound waves) cannot be heard from the human ear nor from pets such as dogs, cats, fish, birds and farm animals.
Positioning is the most important success factor.
Ideal areas of application for the TOPO STOP 100 are places that are difficult to access, such as cavities, shelves, false ceilings, insulations, and much more. The prerequisite is the presence of a power connection - the device is simply plugged into the socket via the power supply line. The device’s vibration is transmitted depending on surroundings and ground and protects an area of up to 100 m².
Installation height:making sure the sound waves arrive where they are supposed to protect. In general, the device should preferably be installed at a height of up to one meter.
Practical information
As a standard, the mouse repellent is equipped with a separate power plug and a 20 m cable so that it can be placed anywhere. A suitable 20 m connecting and extension cable (08020) is available separately. If more than one device is needed to keep the mice away, two TOPO STOP R100 can be linked together and connected with a single power adapter.
