Raccoons are rather unpopular visitors outside zoos as they can cause considerable damage to gardens and buildings. With the expert-approved method for live trapping raccoons, martens, young foxes, polecats etc., you can reliably protect your house, attic, garden and car. 

How the wild animal trap works 

The trap is delivered pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. Baiting is very easy via a small door. The raccoon can enter the trap through two entrances. When it enters, the locking mechanism is triggered, locking both flaps at the same time. The reinforced, coated wire frame makes the catch box weatherproof, robust and escape-proof. The metal carrying handle ensures safe removal of the animal. Easy to clean and reusable.

The correct use

• The catch box should only be handled and baited with gloves. This also protects against injuries. Suitable baits for raccoons include sweet fruits, sultanas, Nutella, jam, marshmallows, cat food. 
• Check the trap several times a day. Please release unintentional catches such as rabbits, hedgehogs, cats etc. on site immediately.
• The wire trap should also be darkened, e.g. with the help of a suitable blanket or other breathing material, so as not to expose the trapped animal to additional stress.

Near the disturbed area, e.g. small animal enclosure, stable, garage, etc.

Martens and raccoons, foxes etc. are wild, ownerless animals which are mostly subject to hunting laws. It is therefore imperative that you observe the applicable legal regulations (laws, ordinances, etc.), e.g. the Federal Hunting Act in Germany or the respective hunting laws in the Austrian federal states.
