Versatile protection for a bumper harvest
The U-shaped tunnel arch offers the ideal foundation for a plant protection tunnel and is extremely easy to use. The material is durable and reusable, allowing for multiple uses. Covered with nonwoven garden material or a growth sheet, a tunnel is ideal for protecting plants from the weather and promoting plant growth.
A tunnel arch can even help if an uninvited guest descends on the garden. When covered with a net, it protects delicate plants from the cabbage butterfly, for example. Although this butterfly is beautiful to look at, it can cause considerable damage to all types of cabbage crops, but also nasturtium and turnips. The butterfly lays its eggs in the plants, the caterpillars hatch, eat holes and cut tunnels into the centre of the plants. The excrements cause the plants to rot. An insect net prevents and protects the harvest.
